The monochrome K ribbon is capable of printing a single colour on the surface of ID cards. This ribbon is ideal when full colour printing is not required and you want to print and personalise cards efficiently.

When this feature is activated, the printer uses only the amount of ink required to print the data on the card, without advancing the ribbon across the full width of the card. This can result in significant ribbon savings, allowing almost twice as many cards to be printed with a single roll of ink.
